English Sterling Silver & Guilloche Enamel Box
A really wonderful example, and a good size, with the lid having a diameter measuring 3 1/4".
Made from sterling silver, the box stands on three charming little legs. What makes this one rather special is the highly sought-after pink colour, with the enamel in perfect undamaged condition.
The box opens to reveal the original velvet and silk linings (wear commensurate with age, but all original). The box has a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1920 the makers initials D & F are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Deakin & Francis.
Excellent condition, standing 1 3/4" tall.
