A very smart large picture frame made from English Sterling Silver with a solid Oak backing.

What makes this a highly desirable example is the opportunity to use as both a portrait and landscape frame, versatile and very usable.

The silver is decorated with a double raised border. The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1909, Edwardian in era. The makers mark is also present for C S Green and Co.

Superb condition measuring 13 1/4" x 8 1/4" with a glazed aperture measuring 10 3/4" x 5 3/4".
