An exquisite box made from English sterling silver with a full hallmark for Birmingham 1910, making it a late Edwardian example.

A large pill box with a most unusual lid having a pronounced dome to the centre. The top is decorated in the most wonderful amethyst coloured guilloche enamel with a shiny patina showcasing the engine-turned decoration below. The interior retains a lavishly gilded finish.

Excellent condition measuring 2 1/4" in diameter x 1" tall.
