Elegant 19thc Burr Walnut Sofa Writing Table
Here is a good quality Mid 19c Victorian sofa table, in the regency style.
Circa 1860.
This very elegant burr walnut table is of rectangular form, with an inset green leather, gold tooled writing surface, over to drawers, with very pretty and ornate brass handles.
With two side supports with central stretcher, having sabre shaped legs, finishing with small turned feet.
The walnut is exceptionally lovely, with some stunning figuring to the sides, and maintaining an excellent deep rich colour, and original finish.
Excellent rich warm patina to the wood.
The overall condition is exceptionally good, some minor signs of age and use.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
Bees-waxed and polished.
