Elegantly proportioned painted satinwood small occasional table or wine table c1905. The table has a circular figured satinwood top and figured satinwood apron supported on square tapered legs with shaped cross-stretchers. Top decorated with a central painted panel depicting the Duchess of Devonshire and surrounded by ribbon swags. Apron, legs and stretchers decorated with stylised bell flowers. The table measures 71 cm in height. Tabletop is 36 cm in diameter.
This table is in excellent overall condition commensurate with age. Minor historic knocks, marks and wear as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Decoration in excellent condition. Retains its lovely aged patina. Please see images as these form an important part of the description. Viewing by appointment only.
