A magnificent and substantial antique Edwardian mahogany desk chair in Sheraton Revival design dating from circa 1905. With a large tablet back, wonderfully inlaid with flame figured mahogany and satinwood stringing, it has curved out-swept arm rests and stands on elegantly tapered legs with spade feet. The drop-in seat has been recently recovered in a quality cream fabric with neoclassical designs. Comfortable and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair.

Good condition, very solid and sturdy with good colour an patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. A few small marks to the upholstery.
