An attractive Edwardian period inlaid rosewood writing desk. The top is fitted with a sumptuous leather writing surface, highlighted with gilt tooled detailing. Of good construction in solid rosewood with stunning rosewood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. Embellished with inlaid floral detailing and harebells and further inlaid stringing throughout. There is an arrangement of 2 banks of 4 graduated drawers flanking a central long drawer. All drawers are fitted with their original solid brass handles. Standing on short tapering legs which terminate in their original solid brass castors. This stylish desk is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home office.
