Here is an Edwardian ripple mahogany inlaid apprentice sideboard. This may be an apprentice piece but is till of a good size not miniature as you would expect. Its top has beautiful ripple mahogany with a stunning large inlaid boxwood oval shell with satinwood banding to the outer edge of the shell. There is a satinwood band to the edge with black and white stringing.
The front has a pleasant bow with one long and two small drawers aside a small arch. All drawers have a satinwood inlaid banding and nice quality quarter sawn oak linings. The drawers have small round brass drawer pulls with round back plates. It sits on four angled tapering legs terminating in a block foot.
The sides also have satinwood banding. The nice thing is that it is finished on the back. This is a super well made piece and because of it's size would fit almost anywhere and have multiple uses.
