Very stylish mid 19th.c. nursing or bedroom chair c.1870. Ebonised hardwood frame with original ormolu moulding and bead. Raked backrest with buttoned upholstery, sprung seat with serpentine front edge, carved apron and good turned and fluted front legs. Excellent condition, with original brass castors. Recently recovered in a very attractive patterned linen.
