A fine quality rosewood library table from the early Victorian period. Of very good construction in solid rosewood and with attractive rosewood veneers onto a solid mahogany frame. The bow-ended rectangular top sits over a pair of drawers, fitted with their original bun handles. The table is finished to the rear so could be free-standing within a room if required. The legs are embellished with crisp, bold carved detailing and the feet terminate in their original brass and ceramic castors. We have had this table sympathetically repolished in our workshops. It is now offered for sale in excellent overall condition with a lovely colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
