This is an absolutely delightful ladies dressing table / writing desk which was made in france in the 1920's and recently acquired in brittany. Mainly of rosewood and king wood, with a profusion of floral marquetry in exotic veneers also featuring birds and boughs. The hinged tops lift to reveal a dressing mirror and storage for toiletries and stationary a writing slide can be seen in the front along with more drawers and 2 keys. The gilded handles and feet are original and bright
the back is polished for room center positioning. Shown here in best showroom condition having been very carefully restored and wax polished, this most attractive and useful piece of antique furniture is ready to be placed in the home. L
