Delightful French Ebonised Tilt-Top Table
-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-
A truly delightful little French ebonised table.
Dating to the second half of the 19th century.
Beautifully shaped tilt-top, with the most exquisite oil painting to the centre, depicting two fine ladies in period dress, with a classical building in the background. The painting is of superior quality, and is very vibrant and colourful, with a lovely aged patina.
The rest of the table is decorated throughout, with pretty scrolling, naturalistic patterns to the stem and legs.
Naturally time worn, and perfectly slightly distressed.
Having the original metal catch to the tilt-top.
In very good antique condition, with general expected signs of age and use.
Strong, solid and sturdy.
The dimensions are.
Height-97cm Height when flat-72cm.
Width-60.5cm.
Depth-48.5cm.
