Wonderful cast serving tongs 800 S most likely German in origin and the latter part of the 19th century.

Super condition, and very attractive decoration. The serving ends are decorated with two “love” birds.

I believe these might have been pastry servers.

In excellent working order, no “play” in the mechanism.
