Complicated Calendar Carriage Clock - Brunelot
This is a particularly rare and unusual carriage antique clock of French manufacture dated circa 1890 which displays a comprehensive calendar mechanism under the main time dial which displays day,date,month and year.
The year dial is dated from 1966 to 1975 and it is presumed that originally the clock came with several date discs that were changed every 10 years or that the maker supplied updated ones on request.
The eight day duration timepiece movement retains its original lever escapement and bears the trademark for Jules Brunelot (repeated on the calendar mechanism ) , both have which have been professionally serviced and are in perfect working order.
The silvered brass dial is in excellent condition as is the case which retains the vast majority of its original gilding.Like all items of this age there are small marks but it will delight the most discerning buyer.

The clock is 7 1/2 inches tall ,handle up and 6 1/2 with the handle down.It is 4 inches wide and 2 1/8 deep
