Cold Painted Bronze Cuckoo Inkwell Bergman?

Delightful and very scarce design 19th Century cold painted bronze novelty Inkwell in the form of a tree stump with nesting Cuckoo, complete with original ceramic liner.
Although unmarked it is likely to be of the Franz Bergman foundry, as mentioned the well has its original ceramic liner which has no chips.
It once would of possibly had either a smaller bird or foliage to the top to lift the lid but this doesn’t detract from its beauty or usability.
In superb order and a very rare design
Standing 9cm in height
Worthy note:
Whilst attending a sale at Bonhams in London some years ago, I witnessed an identical piece that they had fully attributed to Bergman which sold to a floor bidder for around £1500 plus commission.
