Stylish and decorative early 20th.c. chinoiserie lacquered cabinet c.1920. An unusual and versatile piece of antique furniture featuring a writing bureau with fitted interior, a single drawer and cupboard flanked on either side by bookcase/display space. Decoratated with various oriental scenes in good quality lacquer work, and gold painted detail against a black lacquered ground. Shaped back, shaped glazing bars and raised on good ball and claw feet. In great condition, restored and repolished in our workshops and reatining the original decorated silk lining. Keys supplied.
