Here we have a stunning Ash and Elm George IV Windsor armchair from the Nottinghamshire region c1820. As you can see the chair has beautiful colour and patina. There is an Ash hooped top rail with spindles and a decorative central splat. There are hooped continuous Ash arms with spindles and splat to the lower section and well turned arm supports. The seat is delicious grainy Elm with a period denoting side to side grain. The legs again are beautifully turned and joined by a crinoline stretcher. A super chair with lovely rake to the back making for great comfort in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 41 inches high and 20 wide.
