Unusual mid 20th.c. campaign style desk or side table probably of Oriental origin c.1960. Rosewood top, inlaid at the centre with a decorative design in brass and copper and surrounded with two lines of brass stringing. Over three drawers also inlaid to match. With reinforced brass corners in the manner of 19th.c. military campaign antique furniture. Raised on an unusual base with double X-frame turned and block legs joined with a long turned stretcher. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
