A splendid Edwardian period burr walnut Carolean style writing desk by Bartholomew and Fletcher of London. Of excellent construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers and solid oak drawer linings. The top is fitted with a sumptuous tan leather writing surface. There is an arrangement of one long and six short drawers, all lockable (key supplied) and all fitted with their original solid brass handles. All standing on excellent Carolean style legs and under-stretchers in solid walnut. This desk is finished to the rear so could be free standing with a room if required. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home or office.
