"Brook on the Glen near Shipley" and "Percy Beck near Barnard castle" pair by Joseph Mellor. Joseph Mellor 1827-1888 was originally a weaver in the Barnsley linen industry becoming a professional artist in the 1850's painting local North East views. Both oil on canvas. Signed title verso in original frames.
