This powder compact is suitable for use with modern pressed / solid face powders or as a handbag mirror.
A beautiful Stratton " Convertible " powder compact in superb unused condition. Stratton were rightly famed for the quality of their powder compacts & this vintage compact is no exception. The lid has an engine turned design of tiny diamond shapes separated by smooth gold tone vertical borders. The mirror is perfect gives an excellent reflection & the bezel is signed "Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND".
All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with the all over stars design and signed " Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND ".
This vintage compact mirror measures 3 1/8" & weighs 92.3 grams.
