Austrian (Vienna) Silver & Tortoiseshell Hip Flask

One of the finest flasks I have come across in some time, sleek and stylish appearing like a car radiator with linear decoration.
What makes this exciting and rare is that one side of the flask opens to reveal a cigarette case with lavish gilding of course this would be equally useful as a business card case.
Down the side of either side of the flask is a polished curved piece of period tortoiseshell, this is a tactile piece once in one's hand, you just want to hold it. A good weighty piece at 10.27 Troy Ounces / 310.7 Grams.
The lid has a twist and lift action to open. There are several marks including makers initials AKO and the Bird's head (1=935 and W for Vienna) it also has a 935 silver stamp, a higher grade than sterling silver.
A highly collectable piece with a curved shape one side engineered to comfortably fit into a pocket.
Superb quality and condition measuring 4 3/4" wide x 4" tall x 3/4" thick. Art Deco in era, dating to c.1930.
