A stunning little pill box made from silver gilt (gold on silver) marked Sterling with other Austrian hallmarks including the makers initials.

The box is beautifully engine turned and the domed lid and sides are covered in the prettiest pale lilac coloured guilloche enamel showcasing the design below. Better than most, it is wonderful to have enamel around the sides as well as on top of the lid.

The hinged lid is in good working order and once opened, revealed the lavish original gilded interior.

Dating to c.1910, the box remains in superb undamaged condition. 1 1/2" in diameter x 3/4" tall.
