A lovely five drawer chest. We date this chest of drawers to the late 19st century.

The chest sits on a stepped plinth base over four turned feet.

The chest consists of two smaller side by side drawers over three full width drawers that are recessed. The lower drawers are flanked by a turned column at each side.

The drawer fronts have lovely carvings and are fitted with drop handles and locks ( keys are supplied).

The marble top has shades of white to grey.

The chests of drawers have a height of 31.5" (80cm), a width of 45" (115cm) and a depth of 22.5" (57cm).

This lovely chest remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some filled holes and marks to the marble top indicating it had a rear gallery at some time in the past. The lower drawer has different drop handles parts.

These remain a very stylish and elegant chest which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
