The desk An arts & Crafts oak writing table / desk dating circa 1900. The desk has a distinctive overhanging top with shaped brackets, over a single drawer, subtle reverse tapering legs terminating in flaired feet. This is a quality example constructed with selected cuts of quarter sawn oak. The center, tooled leather, section of the top pulls out to reveal a raising stationary rack.
