A very pleasing original Georgian writing bureau desk presented in good antique condition
Mid-size and offering a well fitted interior layout
Of interest displaying classic English Georgian styling throughout
In attractive mahogany with a desirable aged tone
Rising from bracket feet through a quartet of full width drawers
The fall flap opens to provide a practical writing surface, with pull out lopers for support, and benefits from working lock and key
In the fitted area storage cubbies and letter slots sit over drawers, and flank the central field panel door - which is complete with working lock and key
Fine dovetailing to the oak lined drawer boxes, and traditional cock-beading, further demonstrate the quality of the bureau
