Antique Victorian Mahogany Writing Table / Desk
A fine antique Victorian period writing table in solid mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.
It is of super quality and is of lovely proportions. There are beautifully turned solid mahogany legs, brass handles and this has a polished back, so can be used as a free standing item. The inset leather top is gold tooled and has been hand coloured to enhance the patina.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is very good for its age. There are various small bumps and marks remaining beneath the polish, giving this plenty of character and charm.

Depth – 27 inches , 68 cm
Height – 29 inches , 73 cm
