Antique Victorian Mahogany Sofa Table c1880
Antique Victorian Mahogany Drop Leaf Sofa Table in the Regency style and dating form around 1880. Constructed form quality mahogany it has a reeded edge to the top with drop leaf on either side which raises on a hinged support. This si above two drawers both of which are oak lined with brass handles and to the back of the table there are two false drawers mirroring the front. It stands on lyre shaped supports with shaped and reeded legs on brass paw castors joined by a turned stretcher.
Measures 30" high x 19" deep x 37" wide (closed) x 56" (open)
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
