A charming antique early Victorian chair in mahogany. A good quality, solid and sturdy chair with balloon back and attractively shaped front legs. It has a nicely carved back rail and has sabre legs to the back. In beautifully figured mahogany, the drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered in a faux-suede fabric. Would make a superb desk chair. Dating from circa 1850.

Good condition. Newly reupholstered. Solid and sturdy, with good original patina. Small angular section of back leg missing (see photo). Marks and wear commensurate with age.
