Antique Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Pedestal Desk
A handsome and extremely fine quality antique mahogany leather top pedestal desk, with satinwood inlaid bandings all over. This dates from around the 1880-1890 period. It bears the makers mark ‘Willson 68 Great Queen Street London’.
The drawers are graduated in depth, with fine dovetails, locks & beautifully cast original brass handles. The plinth bases have casters underneath.
We have had this French polished and it is in wonderful condition throughout. The top has been re-leathered and hand coloured to give a beautiful patina, the edges of the leather have been hand tooled.
This desk is beautifully finished on the back as well, and it comes in three pieces for ease of transport.

Knee height – 24 inches , 61 cm
