Antique Victorian Carved Oak Gothic Hall Chair
An attractive antique hall chair. We date this chair to the late 19th century.
The chair sits on well turned and carved legs at the front and splayed square section legs at the rear.
The chair has a panelled seat and the backrest has an ornate gothic carved top.
The chair has a height of 37.5" (96cm) with a backrest height of 21" (54cm), an overall depth of 22" (56cm), a seat height of 17.5" (45cm), a seat width of 18.5" (47cm) and a seat depth of 15" (39cm).
This attractive chair remains in good solid condition with only minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to the seat area including a slight age gap. There is some wear at the top of the backrest.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. That is supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest for many years to come.
