An elegant antique Victorian balloon back chair in walnut with cabriole legs. It has a shaped and carved top rail and carved central bar, in a mellow light brown finish. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is in fair condition, in a jaquard fabric with a swirl design of pale gold on a cream background. A solid chair, would make a lovely dressing table chair or bedroom chair. Dating from circa 1880.

Solid frame. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is in fair condition.
