A wonderful vintage something blue gift. This hand painted enamel compact mirror is also suitable as a 21st (brass) anniversary gift as it made from brass. The lid is a joy to behold! The most beautiful cobalt blue enamel adorned with five hand painted flamingos. There isn't any enamel loss and the compact is in excellent condition. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives a super clear and accurate reflection. The mirror bezel is signed 'STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND'. The patent number is stamped on the interior. The base is decorated with an engine turned design of tiny diamond shapes. This compact is suitable for use with pressed / solid modern face powders and it measures 3" & weighs 97 grams.
