This is an antique sofa table in rosewood, an English Regency Pembroke table dating to circa 1820.
Superb colour and grain interest in the well figured rosewood
Desirable aged patina and of quality craftsmanship
Highlighted and decorated with brass inlay
The top framed in twin brass string detail
Extended by end leaves supported on attractive scrolled brackets
Single frieze drawer flanked by a pair of decorative field panels
Raised on a pair of stout, oblong section, tapering pillars
Panelled sides with beaded edge mouldings
Standing upon a hyperboloid base over scrolled feet, riding on original brass castors
