Description:
This is fine quality antique English Art Deco two door wardrobe circa 1930, with small proportions, displaying stunning burr walnut timbers, in excellent original condition. The two bow front doors boast stunning mirror-matched burr walnut timbers, along with elegant curved corners and edges and original vertical shaped wooden handles. The right-hand door features a working lock and key. All internal locking catches are present and in good working order. The doors open to reveal a hanging rack to the inside of the left door. The main interior comprises a full width storage shelf to the top and below on the left-hand side is a telescopic hanging rail. The right-hand side of the interior comprises four storage shelves. This small Art Deco sits on the original curved bracket feet. This is a single piece wardrobe with small proportions, which allows it to be easily carried upstairs into a bedroom.
This Art Deco two door wardrobe boasts a lovely mellow colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
This Art Deco two door wardrobe would look superb in a variety of rooms, especially the bedroom and would suit either a traditional or contemporary setting. It would certainly grace any home and is a great investment as it is extremely functional.

This is fine quality antique English Art Deco two door wardrobe, circa 1930, with small proportions, displaying stunning burr walnut timbers, in excellent original condition. This small Art Deco wardrobe has been cleaned and traditionally French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the patination and colour of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the leading external edges, sides and interior, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. All internal door locking catches are present and in good working condition. The Art Deco wardrobe retains its original shaped vertical wooden handles and curved bracket feet. The door incorporates a working lock and key. The two metal shoe bars at the bottom of the wardrobe (below the hanging rail) are in good condition. There are no splits to the doors and they close flush to the frame. The interior is clean and the wardrobe is solid in joint and ready to use.

We offer free delivery to mainland England, Wales, and Southern Scotland (anywhere south of Stirling). We do not offer free delivery to locations north of Stirling in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or any British Islands off the mainland for example, the Isle of Man, Isle of White and Channel Islands. If you live in one of the areas where we do not offer free delivery, please contact us for a delivery quote before purchasing the item. Delivery will be made by our specialised antique furniture delivery service, or in some cases we will use a courier service for distant deliveries.
Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
Once you have purchased an item, we will contact you by email and/or telephone and provide you with a provisional delivery date, in order for you to confirm if it is suitable for you. Once you have confirmed you can accept delivery on the provisional delivery date, we will book the delivery in with our shippers and it then becomes a confirmed delivery date.
