An elegant pair of antique solid silver scissor sugar tongs/nips. Hallmarked Birmingham 1912, maker's mark John Rose.
They have the typical scissors action and at the end are two curved sections in the form of shells. The handles and connectors have a fine decoration and the hinge section is plain on the front and back.
Condition: in very good working order
Measurements: 3.5 inches x 2 inches
