Antique Silver & Mother of Pearl Fruit Knife 1832
A fabulous and very early little fruit knife, William IV in era, with a full English hallmark to the silver for Birmingham 1832, nearly 200 years old. The makers initials are also present, I believe for Thomas Wilkes Barton.
The handle is mounted back and front with a piece of iridescent Mother of Pearl shell the silver at the sides of the handle is beautifully decorated.
The knife comes complete with it's original gold embossed case, in remarkable condition, considering the age.
Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/4" in length while closed and 5 3/4" while opened.
