Antique Set 4 country Elm Ladder Back Chairs c1840
Antique Early Victorian Set of Four Elm Ladder Back Country Chairs and dating from around 1840. Constructed from solid Elm with the backs having four shaped cross splats above a rush seat all of which are in very good condition and standing on turned legs on a pad foot and joined by turned stretchers .
Each chair measures 36" high x seat height 17" x 17" deep x 18" wide
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
