Antique Regency Rosewood Teapoy Lamp Table
A lovely Regency teapoy. We date this teapoy to the early 19th century.
The teapoy has a circular top with lovely carving at the base of the table skirting, the top section sits on a bulbous carved central column above a tripod base with carved feet above brass castors.
The teapoy opens to reveal four circular compartments.
The top opens by a slight twist and lift, to close it there is a small catch in the centre of the central upright.
The teapoy has a height of 29" (74cm) with a diameter of 19.5" (49cm).
This lovely Regency teapoy remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a previous repair to the edge of the top surface and some light wear to some of the edges, primarily around the feet.
This remains a very stylish and elegant teapoy. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
