A good quality antique Regency chair in mahogany dating from circa 1820. With a reeded tablet back a above a reeded centre rail with three central balls it stands on turned legs to the front and sabre legs to the back. The drop-in seat has been newly recovered over the existing horsehair upholstery. Would make a wonderful desk chair.

Good condition solid and sturdy Warm patina to the mahogany. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over existing horsehair upholstery. Some old worm holes to the back of the seat rail, which have been filled with wax.
