A handsome antique mahogany open armchair or desk chair dating from the early Victorian period. The curved oblong top-rail and crossbar above a drop-in seat on turned front legs. The drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered in a good quality soft tan coloured Italian leather. A lovely rich colour with a warm patina to the mahogany, very solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair.
