A lovely mahogany chest of drawers. We date this chest to the early 20th century.

The chest sits on four splayed bracket feet. The chest comprises four graduated drawers, two over two that are fitted with swan neck drop handles on oval backplates. The chest has a small plain gallery to the rear and attractive carved mouldings to each corner at the front.

The chest has a height of 34" (86cm) including gallery, a table top height of 31” (79cm), a width of 38" (96cm) and a depth of 20.5" (52cm) at its deepest.

This lovely chest remains in a good solid condition. There is some minor wear, light indented lines and a couple of dark marks to the top surface and minor wear to some of the edges. There is a small chip to the rear left hand leg.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chest which will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
