Lovely Antique Georgian Regency Mahogany Shield Back Side or Desk Chair and dating form aorund 1800. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a reeded frame to the shield shaped back above a pierced and shaped central back splat and with shepherds crook armrests and a stuff over seat covered in a quality stripe fabric totally in keeping with the period. It stands on squared reeded and tapering legs joined by an 'H' stretcher.
