Antique Georgian mahogany Bureau Desk and dating from around George 111 c1780. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a brass escutcheon to the fall front which opens to reveal a lovely interior with a central door with brass handle and lock escutcheon to either side of this is a moulded bookend secret drawer and with four open compartments with two rows of small drawers with brass handles. To the base there are four long graduated drawers all of which are pine lined and with original brass handles. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet.

Measures 43" high x 22" deep x 44" wide x 30" knee Height (Open)

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
