Antique George III Mahogany Side Chair c.1800
A George III mahogany side chair featuring a pierced foliate roundel crest within a shaped top rail and tapering splat, set over an upholstered serpentine seat raised on cabriole front legs.
A well-made 18th century side chair of sensible scale, equally usable pulled up to a writing table, as a dressing chair or as a single occasional chair in a hall or landing.
Very good antique condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. Quality later upholstery is in good order. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
