Antique French Walnut Writing Desk c1880
Antique French Walnut Serpentine shaped Writing Desk and dating from around c1880. Constructed from quality walnut it has a leather writing surface to the serpentine shaped top with gold embossed edging and a thick moulded edge with a shaped frieze below. It stands on long cabriole legs on a carved foot.
Measures 30" high x 26" deep x 44" wide
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
