Antique French Inlaid Marquetry Writing Table
A beautiful original small antique French writing table. This was made in France and dates from around the 1860-80’s period.
It is of superb quality, with very fine ormolu mounts throughout. The back is finished identically to the front, so this can be used as a free standing item. There are pull out slide shelves on each side that have inset felt tops. The wood is predominantly walnut & Kingwood, with profuse inlaid marquetry on the top of many exotic woods.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
