This is an antique, French bombé vitrine in the Louis XV taste dating to c.1880.

Raised on slender cabriole legs with delicate apron the light mahogany frame rises to the upper rails beneath the shaped, rose marble top.

Richly adorned with ormolu mounts in swags and scrolls of foliate detail the cabinet sings quality and features the original curved glass that floods light into the original velvet interior divided by twin shelves.

The working lock and key closes central door on this stunning piece which has proportion and interest in abundance.
