Antique English Silver Scent Bottle c1910
A very nice, antique, George V, English Sterling Silver Scent Bottle made by G Watts & Co, Meredith Street, Clerkenwell, London and dating from c1910.
The bottle with lovely engraved decoration. It is free of engraved initials or other personal inscriptions.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "GW" for George Watts, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Chester London town mark and date letter "k" for 1910/11.
It is complete with the original fitted case. There is no stopper but cork on the inside of the screw on lid, therefore I don't think there would have been a stopper originally.
It measures 70mm in height and 35mm in width. The weight is 42.8g.
A lovely item in excellent condition. Specialists in Antique Pocket Watches & Vintage Wristwatches, Jewellery, Silver (including Scottish Provincial),Good Quality Antiques & Works of Art.
