This is an unusual, rare Chinese 19th century red lacquered drum form coffee table, profusely decorated with figures and buildings in the typical Chinese taste.

The table dates from around 1890 and has a great shape with a good large and practical surface. This is in good used condition with some characterful chips and bumps to the lacquer here and there.

The table measures 98 cms in diameter by 40 cms high.
